The same instinct runs through a fault at height, a small piece of software, and a bird moving across a winter sky: pay attention to what is actually there.

I’m a Romanian-born engineer based in Royal Tunbridge Wells, with more than 15 years across mechanical and electrical engineering, technical service and team leadership.
I work best where machinery, people and responsibility meet: real problems, incomplete information and decisions that must remain clear, practical and accountable.

Birdwatching slows the world down enough to see it. Binoculars, patience, the Kent countryside—and the quiet pleasure of noticing what was already there.
Engineering taught me to inspect. Birds taught me to notice. They are not the same thing.
A growing photographic field journal will live here: sightings, places and the small stories around them.
